Nervous System Support & Neurodivergence Coaching
For the deep feeler with a big vision who is ready to stop performing and start leading from the inside out.
You don’t need to become more polished, more palatable, or more conventionally productive. You need enough safety, clarity, and structure to become more fully yourself.Coaching and consulting are two distinct but complementary ways of working. Coaching is collaborative. We explore what’s getting in the way, build clarity around your values and direction, and develop the nervous system skills and structures that help you lead and create from a more grounded place. Consulting is more directive. I bring somatic assessment, neurodivergence-affirming insight, and specific recommendations to help you work with your brain, not against it. Most clients experience both.
Laura is a Certified Mental Performance Consultant® (CMPC) and Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. She has worked with collegiate and professional athletes, high-performing executives, and integrated sports medicine teams.
My Approach
Coaching that meets your nervous system where it actually is.
Shelby Leigh is a Certified Professional Coach, Licensed Professional Counselor, and Somatic Psychotherapist with more than 20 years of experience working with gifted, neurodivergent, and trauma-impacted clients.
She is a neurodivergent human herself. She has built businesses, navigated the cost of masking, and learned firsthand what it takes to move from surviving to leading in a way that actually fits who you are. That lived experience is inseparable from her clinical and coaching work.
Shelby works with deep feelers and sensitive souls, high-masking AuDHDers, gifted and multiply-exceptional clients, and leaders and creatives who are ready to build something that honors their brain, their body, and their values.
Our Work Together
Every engagement is different because every nervous system is different. Below are the core areas Shelby addresses with clients. The work is shaped around what is most relevant to you, your life, and where you are right now.
-
We build a working understanding of your own nervous system patterns, including what activates you, what restores you, and what keeps you stuck in cycles of burnout or shutdown. From there, we develop practical tools that work with your biology, not against it.
-
Whether you are newly identified or have known about your neurodivergence for years, Shelby brings a non-pathologizing, strengths-focused lens to how your brain works. We address executive function, sensory needs, masking, burnout, and the real cost of spending your energy performing neurotypicality.
-
Your body knows things your mind is still processing. Shelby integrates somatic approaches to help you access your own wisdom, set limits that come from values rather than fear, and lead and create from a more embodied, authentic place.
-
For clients managing ADHD, AuDHD, or giftedness with executive function differences, we build systems and structures that honor how your brain actually works. This means identifying your deepest yes, reducing the ADHD tax, and finding the rhythms and environments where you genuinely thrive.
-
Many clients come in knowing they are capable of more, but caught between who they truly are and who the world has told them they need to be. We work to close that gap, building a clearer, more grounded sense of what you are here to create and why it matters.
-
Shelby works with founders, leaders, and creatives who are building something meaningful. We address visibility, over-giving, people pleasing, and how to grow work that is financially sustainable and personally alive.
By the end of our work together, you will have a more honest relationship with your own nervous system. You will have structures and tools built for your actual brain. And you will have a clearer, more grounded path toward the work and life you are building.
“I don’t believe my clients need to become more polished or palatable. I believe they need enough safety, compassion, connection, and what I like to call riverbanks to become more fully expressed as themselves.”
